My Mr. Grey

Ever since she read THAT book, I've had to buy all kinds of ropes, chains and shackles. She still manages to get into the shed though.
C. T. Grey Fifty Sheds of Grey
My Mr. Grey - missing his two sheds but this book has given us lots of amusement over Christmas.

And no I haven't read the original book. Have you?

  1. I found a 'speed read' version online. It is dreadful ! And that is just the plotline and quality of writing. We won't even mention the activities of the protagonists.
Having spent time helping women who have suffered in abusive relationships, I resent the way this book has made whatshername so rich, and the way it 'normalises' this sort of behaviour. Loving relationships should be about LOVE not power and pain. Sorry, rant over. I understand the shed book is screamingly funny.
    happy new year

    1. I totally agree with you and was very anti this book - quite pleased that someone else is cashing in on it though and creating some fun. Happy New Year Angela xo

  4. We had a copy of 50 Sheds under our tree too and it made us chuckle. I haven't read the other books either and have no wish to do so!
