Walking the Hedgerows

Following Lou's challenge to forage among the hedgerows I found billowing waist high cow parsley, bright buttercups, bluebells and more. But I also found a stray lilac tree and picked a sweet smelling branch. Slightly off task, I know, but I couldn't resist. I've put just one head in a narrow vase on my desk. I love this shade of light purple and its fresh green leaves against the aqua of the vase. And the smell is divine...

  4. Oh I am loving the lilacs at the moment. They are wonderful, and I really like the trees even after they have flowered as well.
