I too have previously tried the idea of meditation in classes and alone. This year I decided to do it any way that feels right at the time - lying down, sitting up etc. That way, I find the desire just comes to make a conscious "meditation" out of lying on the cool floor, staring at greenery, looking at the sky or sitting quietly on the couch. I find I'm already doing it more and achieving the goal of slowing the mind. Just this morning it was an unusually cool summer day, so I lay out in the sun for 5 minutes and just focused on the feeling of it on my skin. I hope you are well!lucent imageryhttp://www.lucentimagery.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5701097386033513768.post-56832153722524821082013-02-03T11:08:24.037+00:002013-02-03T11:08:24.037+00:00I don't meditate. I think I tried years ago. I...I don't meditate. I think I tried years ago. I do like to stretch and also a swim now and again is a nice place to empty the mind. I do find water relaxing. I think I'm one of those people who needs to be moving and meditating, even slowly! Heather xHeather https://www.blogger.com/profile/16391490107612393396noreply@blogger.com
