Friday I'm in Love

You know that Friday feeling and that end of holiday feeling? Two powerful emotions, the start of something promising and the end of something perfect, well that just sums up today.

I want to hug this westerly tip of Cornwall, where we've been staying, and keep it close to my heart; its unbelievably vivid skies and sea, its wild landscape and this little idyllic haven which has been our home for the week. As with all great holidays we would like to stay longer but tomorrow we will venture home refreshed and inspired. More details to follow but here's a little preview of my photos of a cold but wonderful break.

Thanks to all who've been reading and following in my absence. I look forward to a proper catch up soon...

  3. What a wonderful place. This seaside is very different as the Northsea the Netherlands. We have no rocks. Only sand beaches. These houses are also beautiful. So robust. Cherish your memories!

Great blog - your thoughts, emotions and values are probably familiar to many of us but you have gone that one step further by sharing them with others - I'm an avid follower already!

Delighted to welcome you and your lovely family back yet again to Boscrowan in far west Cornwall for your Easter break. My memory of your stay was seeing you out wandering around our grounds with camera in hand and intent! Looking forward greatly to seeing the results over the next few weeks!

  12. Ummm. Saw that first picture on Sue's blogroll and had to follow it. Looks like the tropics.. although if it were anything like Devon, probably didn't feel like it! So glad you had a good holiday!

  14. So happy that your holiday was idyllic and the photos are lovely. I agree with Lucent Imagery that the open gate photo is so very inviting!

  15. This week's guests (also regulars) have declared that opening our gates is like opening the door to Narnia!

  16. Oh my goodness . . . I want to go through that gate and stay there forever. So picturesque and like something out of a dream. I'm a wee bit jealous.
