♥ The first day without the Christmas tree and lights so candles are a must.
♥ First peep of my Epiphany pressie for Hubs. This tradition started by accident - one year I discovered a wrapped present I'd forgotten about (in the days of my overspending) and so I gave it on Epiphany. Now we share a small gift each Epiphany.
♥ First read of the new year. This book is the follow-up to Gretchen Rubin's The Happiness Project and I'm already finding it great motivation.
I hope you've all had a good weekend and are eeeaassing your way into the new year nice and gently.
Be happy xo

ReplyDeleteHappy new year Claire. Enjoyed looking through your photos of 2013 and reading today's post. Took a similar photo of my decorations that I took down yesterday - posted it on Instagram. Missing you already x x
ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying candles at the moment as well. Perfect against all of this gloomy weather. I've heard of The Happiness Project, I shall keep a look out for it. Hope you have a good week.
ReplyDeleteCandles are so lovely after all the decorations come down aren't they. I think that candles and a bunch of flowers are a must in January! xx
